The easiest way to use the maps is with MapSource from Garmin. If you don't have MapSource then you can get it by doing the following, if you have MapSource installed already then proceede to Step 1:

To Install MapSource:
Step A) Download and install Garmin Training Software from here: http://www8.garmin.com/support/collection.jsp?product=999-99999-04
Step B) Now download and install the MapSource update from here: http://www8.garmin.com/support/download_details.jsp?id=209


Step 1) After downloading the setup program for the map, run it and proceede with the installation. It doesn't matter where you install the map files.


Step 2) Run MapSource. Click on the pulldown menu and select the map you just installed.



If you don't see the pulldown menu shown above, then you need to make sure the "View Toolbar" option is selected as shown below:



Or you can select the map from the "View"->"Switch to Product" menu:



Now you should see the map that you installed:



Step 3) Select the map tiles you want to install on the GPS just as you would for any other map product such as City Select, City Navigator, MetroGuide, etc.:

Note: You can select maps from one map product, switch to another product and select maps from it as well.


Step 4) Install the maps to the GPS just as you would with any other map product such as City Select, City Navigator, MetroGuide, etc.
